Captain’s Log – Mon 4/14/25
Transiting the offshore passage uneventfully through The Whale cut, we hopped down to a gorgeous and fun little island called Guana Cay. We’re glad we waited for the seas to calm down as we could see where it could be dicey with big waves. We had 4’ rollers as it was.
After arriving at Guana Cay, we finally got the anchor set on the 5th attempt after snagging a tree branch that must have blown in during a storm. We took the dinghy ashore to hit the beach bars here, which is pretty much what the place is known for. We had waaaay too many beers and a blast at the bars.

After a drink at Grabbers, we walked over to Nippers for a couple of beers. Unfortunately we missed the big Sunday hog roast since we decided to wait a day for the seas to calm down.

We finished the afternoon off back at Grabbers to get dinner and watch the sunset. The dinghy wouldn’t start, or the Capt was too drunk to start it, so we had to row back to Hula Girl. 🙄🤷🏼♂️

Tomorrow, we will head for Marsh Harbor.
