Birthday Beach

Captain’s Log – Sat 4/26/25

Today was Alicia’s birthday so we wanted to be in port to celebrate. This year it’s Spanish Wells, last year it was Kona and the year before we had sailed to Key West.

The sea gulls woke us up at 7:00am sharp like a nautical rooster, so I made breakfast and mimosas on the boat. There’s definitely worse ways to wake up!

We then went to the Sandbar to spend the day at the beach there since it was closed Tuesday when we tried to go. What a great day!

After the Sandbar we met our friends back at Wreckers for a couple more cocktails and to say goodbye since they are leaving for the Abacos in the morning. Fair winds friends! Hope our paths cross again soon.

Finally, we had dinner at The Shipyard to cap off the day. It probably won’t be an early start, but we’re heading out in the morning at high tide to stage for the trip to Nassau.

✌️❤️⛵️
