Captain’s Log – Sun 4/27/25
We left Spanish Wells this morning about 9:30 and anchored at Egg Island, the North Western most point of Eleuthera so we would have a bit of head start towards Nassau tomorrow morning.
It looks like moderate wind tomorrow, which will be behind us, so we swapped the little headsail out for the big one.
Then we headed over to our a sandbar by the reef where a bunch of sting rays hang out. We fed them some squid pieces. SO much more fun than the pig beach!

The sandbar is stunning. After a bit we had it all to ourselves. Just us, the rays and a ton of sea cucumbers. Apparently they clean the sand which is why it’s so pretty here.

The swings here were WAY up high. That was a bit of challenge getting up there!

Tomorrow we will head for Rose Island, just east of Nassau.
