Rain, rain go away

Captain’s Log – Tue 4/8/25

Not much going on today. We slept in and had brunch with mimosas at the Green Turtle Club. After brunch we cleaned the salt off all the porthole window and hatch seals , then greased them with super lube so they would seal up good for the rain today. Also caulked around the mast. It lost its water tight seal during Hurricane Milton and I’ve been attempting to get it sealed better with each rain storm.

There were half a dozen boats s that came in right before the storms started. They must have had more faith in the timing of the storm than I did, or luck. Cutting it a bit close if you ask me.

Hopefully all the salt will get rinsed off the boat. 🤞

✌️❤️⛵️

    Hello Hula Girl…

We are Mike and Kate on SV Wisdom. We are TwoCanSail people. Jeff and Jean let us know you are in the vicinity. We are anchored out front Great Guana Cay-Crossing Bay (ferry port). We are heading north, leisurely making our way over the month to cross back over the Gulf Stream finishing up Season 2. We plan to anchor next at New Plymouth (South end of Green Turtle Cay).
We would love to meet you if your sail plans allow.
We can hear VHF hails from Green Turtle Cay from here.
We are on “No Foreign Lands” amd “Sea People” marine social apps.
